Anthony Puharich a 5th generation Australian butcher meets with Lachlan Graham, an Australian beef and lamb producer and proprietor of Argyle Prestige Meats to find out how meat is graded using the the Meat Standards Australia system. It all began in 1996 when the Australian industry embarked on one of the largest consumer research projects in history. Over 100,000 people tasted and rated almost 700,000 beef and lamb samples so we could understand exactly what's required to produce the great quality meat. Because this revolutionary new drug targets cancer cells selectively and leaves other cells alone, Professor Philip believes it could be more effective than chemo and allow patients to live a relatively normal life during treatment. Clinical trials of the drug have just begun. If the drug is as successful as the team hopes, it could help bring people with brain cancer one step closer to cure.

Love Boat Captain Cruises Down Under Again

More than 30 years after the cult television series The Love Boat filmed a special Australia episode in Sydney, the show's popular Captain Stubing has released a fun video about his latest tour Down Under, revealing he still loves to be at the helm. With his visit timed to coincide with the romance around St Valentine's Day, actor Gavin MacLeod, who played Captain Stubing on the popular 70's show, visited Australia and New Zealand in February, to renew the wedding vows of more than 30 local couples onboard the Australian-based Sun Princess. The new video captures highlights of Gavin's visit to Sydney and Auckland, including his role as 'celebrant' at the wedding vow renewal ceremony as well as his cruise across the Tasman Sea onboard Sun Princess with Gavin having a little trouble adjusting to his new role as a guest, rather than the captain, onboard the modern Love Boat. Speaking after his tour, Gavin said he had fond memories of The Love Boat's time down under in 1981, and he was delighted to revisit Sydney this year to renew local couples' vows and again in Auckland.
