Break the Chain – National Tobacco Campaign
The Break the Chain campaign aims to contribute to halving the smoking rate for Indigenous Australians (currently at 47%) by gaining a higher level of personal acknowledgment of the health impacts of smoking. The campaign will support quit attempts amongst smokers and promote strategies to avoid relapse among quitters.
Stop Before the Suffering Starts – ‘Breathless’ – National Tobacco Campaign
Stop Before the Suffering Starts campaign features two advertisements. One aims to bring to life the long-term suffering that both a smoker and their family endure as result of living with a smoking related disease. The advertisements motivate audiences to stop smoking and stay quit to avoid the long-term suffering associate with a smoking related illness.
Cough – National Tobacco Campaign
The ‘Cough’ television commercial depicts a man with ‘smoker’s cough’. At the end of the commercial he coughs up blood, a possible sign that he has lung cancer.
